Galveston Bay

Had a party of two out today, we fish the lower galveston bay area catching a pile of fish. Red fish, specks, gulf trout, drum, sheep heads and gaftop. We were using live shrimp, fishing near rocks. The wind was around 15 to 20 mph all day. Over all a great trip on the bay. I am now booking trips to Sabine, I only have a few days left in Oct. 09-10-2011 West Bay

A slow day on the bay, the tide was very slow, the bite was slow, we still caught some fish, Bill caught a 26 inch speck 6 pounds, also a 23 inch red fish, his son also caught some nice fish along with a ribbon fish. We caught lots of small fish, we release all of them. I am booking for Oct. and Nov. for trips to Sabine. For $550 for 3 people we catch lots of specks and red fish. 09-06-2011 Galv. Bait and Tackle

We started in West Bay catching a few Specks and Gaftops. Move to the Jetties for some red fsih action only catching a large 40 pound blk drum, heading back to the boat ramp and made a stop near the Galveston Ship Channel to finish up with over 50 Gulf Trout. 09-01-2011 Red Fish

A slow day on the Bay today. I had a Mother and her son out for a great boat ride. They only caught a few fish, the wind was around 20 mph most of the day, the bay was off color.
